Goodmorning! This is Morgenlicht
Morgenlicht Technology is Tech Startup from Cologne,
exploring new ways to connect the digital and physical worlds.
We build AR-Projections that bring digital content into real spaces —
seamlessly, thoughtfully, and with purpose.
Our mission is simple:
Creating technology to enrich the physical world — not replace it.

What we do
Morgenlicht is developing its proprietary technology and applying it to both commercial and artistic installations. We combine interactive installations, projection mapping, and spatial design to craft new forms of interaction — whether it’s immersive installations, marketing experiences, interactive game or educational laboratires. We craft the foundational technologies for the future of augmented spaces. Always with care, adding a digital layer lightly onto the physical world.
Alongside our technological development, we launched Studio Morgenlicht as an independent multimedia studio, creating exhibitions and art installations that reflects on given technological developments and push the boundaries of visual experience.
Our Vision
We believe technology should serve people — not the other way around.
It should deepen our relationships with each other and the physical world, not pull us away from them. Instead of creating more screens, distractions, and isolation, we imagine a future where information appears lightly in our surroundings when needed
— and disappears when it’s not.
Using projection as a bridge between cutting-edge technology and everyday life, we create experiences that invite participation rather than passive consumption. We actively question today’s dominant tech principles and explore alternative ways to design and deploy technology — always aiming for a more humane, respectful approach.
Our long-term vision is to help build a subtle, beautiful, and responsible digital layer for everyday life — one that respects human attention and enriches real-world experience.
At Morgenlicht, we believe the future should feel like the light of dawn — gently awakening and illuminating the world around us.Alongside our technological development, we launched Studio Morgenlicht as an independent multimedia studio, creating exhibitions and art installations that reflects on given technological developments and push the boundaries of visual experience.

Our Technology
Our projections augment the space. Therefore, we are using advanced tracking and mapping techniques to do the visual experience as seamless as possible. Much like projection mapping on facades — but portable, dynamic, and adaptive — it creates an almost invisible blend between the physical and digital worlds. Imagine it as a beamer with an eye, equipped with custom-built technology. We build the full system ourselves, including the integration of hardware and software.
